Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. AWS Engineer to join their team and support development efforts for a government client.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a subject matter expert on all Cloud services being utilized at USDA
Design to minimize risk inherent with changes in architecture, platforms, and tools
Plan for cloud infrastructure capacity requirements, while keeping costs contained

Required Qualifications:

Four-year technical degree or 6+ years relevant work experience, plus 2 years of AWS experience
2+ years architecting large scale Enterprise Applications in an AWS environment
2+ years applying various AWS services as part of DevOps and SRE teams
Demonstrated experience with AWS services like Terraform, CloudFormation, EC2, S3, IAM, ALB, Serverless/Lambda, and more
Experience with Jenkins and programming/scripting using Bash, Python, PowerShell, Ruby
