Senior AWS Platform Engineer

Job Summary

Designing and operating secure self-service AWS platform capabilities, the full-time Senior AWS Platform Engineer will automate account provisioning and manage Infrastructure as Code templates while working remotely.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate organizational units and account-vending automation for standard cloud environment requests
• Implement organization-level guardrails and cost controls to ensure compliance and manage expenses effectively
• Maintain Terraform, CloudFormation, and CDK module libraries for common application patterns and oversee delivery pipelines for infrastructure changes

Required Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower, AWS Organizations, and multi-account landing zone design
• Deep experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
• Experience with federated identity and short-lived credential models such as IAM Identity Center and STS role assumption
• Working knowledge of service control policies and AWS guardrail design
• Experience with managed AWS services like EKS, RDS, or serverless services necessary for building self-service templates
