Senior AWS Security Architect

Job Summary

Owning the architecture and security of the AWS environment, the full-time Senior AWS Security Architect will design, implement, and manage security solutions for a SaaS platform while ensuring compliance with best practices in a remote role.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement AWS Landing Zones and multi-account architecture
• Manage IAM roles, permissions, and access controls across various AWS services
• Proactively identify and remediate security gaps through monitoring, logging, and threat detection

Required qualifications

• Senior-level experience in architecting and securing production AWS environments
• Hands-on experience with AWS Control Tower and AWS-native security services
• Strong background in cloud security, networking, and security operations
• Experience with vulnerability management and implementing DevSecOps practices
• Ability to create and maintain comprehensive architecture and security documentation
