Senior AWS Serverless Architect

Job Summary

To support complex data challenges, the full-time Senior AWS Serverless Architect will design and implement event-driven, serverless architectures on AWS, collaborating closely with federal clients while maintaining hands-on involvement in coding and technical problem-solving in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement event-driven, serverless architectures on AWS using Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and Kinesis
• Collaborate with customers to translate mission needs into technical solutions while mentoring engineers through design discussions and code reviews
• Set architectural direction and enforce best practices across a platform of 20+ autonomous microservices

Required Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional software engineering experience
• Production AWS serverless experience with Lambda, DynamoDB, EventBridge, SQS, and S3
• Strong production experience with Node.js
• Hands-on experience with DynamoDB, including single-table design and streams
• Experience with Infrastructure as code tools such as Serverless Framework, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation
