Senior Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary

As a full-time Senior Azure Cloud Engineer, the candidate will take ownership of enterprise-scale cloud architecture, managing Azure infrastructure while collaborating with various teams to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient cloud solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Serve as the senior-most individual contributor responsible for Azure cloud infrastructure, overseeing architecture, engineering, administration, security, and operations
• Design, implement, and manage Azure networking architecture, including Virtual Networks, routing, and hybrid connectivity solutions
• Lead the transition from consultant-led Azure deployments to internal ownership, ensuring platform stability and security

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a relevant technology field; Master's degree preferred
• 5-7 years of experience in cloud engineering and technical architecture roles, with at least 2-3 years specifically in Azure
• Preferred certifications include Azure Administrator Associate and Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305)
• Proven experience in Azure networking design and operations, with a strong understanding of security controls and governance
• Hands-on expertise in Infrastructure as Code, with proficiency in Terraform preferred
