Senior Azure Cloud Migration Engineer
Job Summary
Leading the migration of the AIRES application from HPE NonStop infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, the full-time Senior Azure Cloud Migration Engineer will plan, execute, and optimize the migration while ensuring application stability, security, and performance in a remote setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the migration of AIRES from on-premises HPE NonStop environments to Microsoft Azure
- Assess existing application architecture and develop migration strategies
- Design and implement Azure-based solutions that meet performance, security, and scalability requirements
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of infrastructure or application migration experience
- Proven experience migrating enterprise applications from on-premises environments to Microsoft Azure
- Strong knowledge of HPE NonStop systems
- Experience with SQL/MX, SQL, and SQL Server
