Senior Azure Consultant

Job Summary

To lead customer Azure infrastructure engagements, the full-time Senior Azure Consultant will manage the entire project lifecycle from discovery and design through implementation and transition to managed services, working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Lead discovery and requirements definition to understand customer business drivers and desired outcomes
• Design and implement Azure infrastructure solutions, including detailed solution designs and operational documentation
• Serve as a technical escalation point, resolving complex issues and enhancing team capability

Required qualifications

• Extensive experience with core Azure infrastructure components such as Virtual Machines, Azure Migrate, and Azure Backup
• Proficiency in networking services including ExpressRoute, virtual networks, and load balancing
• Experience with Azure platform services like Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure App Service
• Knowledge of security, identity, and governance frameworks including Microsoft Entra ID and Azure Policy
• Experience deploying Azure infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code and automation tools such as Terraform or Azure DevOps
