Senior Azure Data Consultant

Job Summary

To modernize enterprise analytics platforms, the Senior Azure Data Consultant will work remotely on a full-time basis, utilizing hands-on experience with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI to build scalable data solutions and migrate legacy Tableau reporting into governed Power BI semantic models.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain Microsoft Fabric data pipelines and develop Spark notebooks for data transformation
• Migrate existing Tableau reports into Microsoft Power BI while ensuring report accuracy and business logic validation
• Design reusable semantic models for consistent enterprise reporting and optimize Power BI report performance

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Azure Data Services, including Microsoft Fabric and Azure Data Factory
• Hands-on experience in production environments with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI
• Strong skills in developing ETL/ELT pipelines and DAX measures for reporting
• Experience migrating analytics platforms like Tableau to Power BI
• Proficiency in SQL for data transformation and performance tuning
