Senior Azure Data Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of a next-generation enterprise data platform, the contract Senior Azure Data Engineer will design, build, and operate data pipelines and products, collaborating with various stakeholders in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement robust data ingestion and transformation pipelines using Azure Data Factory and Databricks
• Develop dimensional models and optimize SQL workloads for analytics consumption
• Lead legacy-to-cloud migrations and establish CI/CD processes for data pipelines using Azure DevOps

Required Qualifications:

• Deep hands-on expertise with Azure Data Factory and its components
• Strong experience in Databricks and PySpark
• Production experience with Azure Synapse Analytics or Microsoft Fabric
• Working knowledge of Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2 and Azure Key Vault
• Advanced SQL skills and proficiency in Python for data engineering tasks
