Senior Azure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Azure Engineer who will be responsible for providing advanced technical support and incident response leadership for Managed Services customers.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a Tier 2/3 escalation resource for incidents and lead incident response efforts during high-severity situations
• Communicate directly with customers during incidents, providing updates and recovery plans
• Own technical direction and architecture for Azure-based Managed Services environments, ensuring secure and scalable solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure and cloud technologies, specifically with Microsoft Azure
• Microsoft Azure Administrator certification (AZ-104 or equivalent) is required
• Experience in a Tier 3 escalation or advanced support role within a Managed Services environment
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology is desired
• Advanced experience with Infrastructure as Code using tools like ARM templates, Bicep, or Terraform
