Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer to support critical infrastructure initiatives in optimizing and transitioning parts of their Azure cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level support for Azure IaaS operations, including VMs, storage, backups, and virtual networking
• Conduct detailed inventory and rightsizing of the existing Azure environment to reduce unnecessary spend
• Lead cleanup efforts of legacy or inefficient configurations across the Azure estate

Required Qualifications

• 4-5 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure
• Demonstrated expertise in Azure virtual machines, backups, storage, and networking
• Strong experience with PowerShell scripting for automation and configuration tasks
• Ability to navigate and clean up large, complex Azure environments
• Experience with Azure cost optimization and rightsizing
