Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer

Job Summary

Working remotely, the full-time Senior Azure Infrastructure Engineer will manage various systems and platforms using tools such as Azure DevOps and Terraform, focusing on the support, administration, and maintenance of a production platform that supports multiple systems.

Key responsibilities

• Establish and manage a code-first platform for automated provisioning and lifecycle management of infrastructure
• Assess and build the Azure environment, defining cloud architecture standards and documenting them in architecture decision records
• Act as a trusted advisor in a client-facing role, driving decisions on architecture design and build for IT infrastructure

Required qualifications

• Proven experience as an Azure Cloud expert, including Azure Landing Zones and subscription design in regulated environments
• Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform and Azure Bicep
• Knowledge of cloud security and compliance frameworks, including HIPAA and NIST
• Experience designing identity and access management solutions with Microsoft Entra ID and RBAC
• Strong technical leadership skills with experience mentoring other engineers
