Senior Azure Messaging Engineer
Job Summary
To support mission-critical enterprise messaging solutions, the temporary Senior Azure Messaging Platform Engineer will design, implement, and support Azure Service Bus and Geo-Replication strategies while working remotely during Pacific Time business hours.
Key responsibilities
- Design, implement, and support Azure Service Bus Premium messaging solutions
- Develop and enhance Terraform scripts and automate deployments using Python, PowerShell, and/or Azure CLI
- Troubleshoot production messaging issues and identify opportunities for operational efficiency
Required qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in cloud, platform, middleware, integration, or enterprise messaging engineering
- Deep hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure and Azure Service Bus
- Experience implementing Geo-Replication or comparable multi-region messaging solutions
- Advanced Terraform experience required
- Strong understanding of High Availability, Disaster Recovery, and distributed/event-driven systems
