Senior Back-End AppSec Lead

Job Summary

Senior Back-End AppSec Lead is a full-time position focused on leading customer engagements in application security, reviewing AI-generated findings for Java and .NET systems, and mentoring AppSec engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead Wayfinder Frontier AI Services customer engagements, delivering technical findings and presenting results to stakeholders
• Review and validate findings from code scanning pipelines, ensuring actionable insights for customers
• Conduct deep code reviews and provide expert remediation guidance to development teams

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years in application security or product security with a strong software development background
• Expert-level knowledge of Java/Spring and .NET Framework/ASP.NET Core
• Experience with OWASP Top 10, CWE Top 25, and modern authentication infrastructures
• Hands-on experience with custom static-analysis rules and AI-assisted code review workflows
• Strong threat modeling experience throughout the secure SDLC
