Senior Back End Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of a next-generation cloud notebook application, the full-time Senior Back End Developer will focus on back-end design and development using AI, Java, Vert.x, and AWS while collaborating with a remote team to create secure and performant interfaces and services.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members on priorities, specifications, and feature implementation
• Craft well-documented, clean, and tested code for high-impact functionality
• Build and maintain secure interfaces and services while working with cloud technologies

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of Java programming experience
• 3-5 years of experience with Reactive Programming (Vert.x)
• 1-2 years of hands-on experience with AI tools for development
• 3-5 years of experience building Web Services and Restful APIs
• Bachelor's Degree preferred
