Senior Back-End Developer

Job Summary

To support the development of an analytical platform, the full-time Senior Back-End Developer will implement backend features and services, focusing on APIs, data pipelines, and integration services while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, with a preference for onsite candidates in Colorado Springs but remote options available for the ideal candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and application logic for modeling, simulation, and analytical workflows
• Translate analytical requirements into functional software features, including data ingestion and results management
• Design and implement APIs and service layers for interaction between the platform and external systems

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field
• 5-10 years of experience in backend software development
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Node.js
• Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures
• Experience with relational and/or NoSQL databases, such as PostgreSQL or MongoDB
