Senior Back-End Engineer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Senior Back-End Engineer.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop online game features such as in-game economy, leaderboards, and matchmaking
- Diagnose and fix issues in live game services
- Deploy multiple backend services and participate in a weekly on-call rotation for emergency service notifications
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of developing/supporting online services, with at least 2 years in an industry role
- Demonstrable command of C# or a similar language
- Experience with cloud providers, particularly Azure
- Experience with CI/CD and working on a live service with a regular release cadence
- Knowledge of back-end service development for online games
