Senior Back-end Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Staff Back-end Engineer to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and build scalable backend services for the core marketplace platform
• Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure on GCP using Terraform
• Build integrations with utility data sources and third-party services across energy markets

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with production systems at scale
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript expertise, particularly with Node.js
• Hands-on experience managing cloud environments, preferably GCP
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure-as-code
• Comfort with databases, API design, and async processing patterns
