Senior Back-end Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Spend 80% of time shipping back-end code, owning and releasing new features on an aggressive product roadmap
• Ensure code meets high engineering standards and can handle increased usage
• Lead the design and architecture of new features/sub-systems and take ownership of the development process from start to finish

Required Qualifications

• 7-12 years of experience as a back-end engineer
• 3-5 years of experience in a dev lead or similar role
• 5-10 years of experience with Node as the primary environment
• Aptitude and willingness to quickly learn established conventions
• Very high standards for code quality
