Senior Back-End Engineer

Job Summary

To support the development of scalable backend services, the full-time Senior Back-End Engineer will design, implement, and maintain systems primarily using Clojure while collaborating remotely with cross-functional teams and ensuring robust cloud deployment practices.

Key responsibilities

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining backend services using Clojure to ensure scalability and performance
• Assisting in the maintenance and modernization of legacy Node.js services
• Collaborating on cloud deployments and enhancing deployment pipelines with infrastructure-as-code practices

Required qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in software development with a focus on backend engineering
• Proficiency in Clojure and familiarity with Node.js
• Understanding of service-oriented architectures and RESTful API design
• Experience with cloud environments and modern development tooling
• Exposure to infrastructure-as-code tools and practices
