Senior Back End Engineer
Job Summary
Building scalable backend systems for an enterprise-grade SaaS product, the full-time Senior Back End Engineer will design and implement data architectures, manage cloud infrastructure, and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a remote-first environment.
Key responsibilities
- Design and build backend services and systems that support the enterprise SaaS platform
- Develop and maintain cloud infrastructure for reliability and performance, primarily on GCP
- Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate requirements into technical solutions
Required qualifications
- Hands-on experience with data systems, including SQL databases and data pipelines
- Backend engineering experience in a SaaS environment with ownership of scalable production systems
- Solid understanding of distributed systems concepts and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Node.js and/or Python, with a willingness to learn other languages
- Experience working effectively in a fast-moving startup environment
