Senior Back End Engineer
Job Summary
Designing and maintaining core services and infrastructure, the full-time remote Senior Back End Engineer will develop scalable systems, connect data workflows, and ensure platform performance while mentoring other engineers.
Key responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain client-facing and internal APIs to support product functionality
- Architect and orchestrate data flows across back end services and third-party systems
- Lead the design and delivery of complex product features from concept through deployment
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent experience
- 6-8 years of experience in back end or full-stack software engineering roles
- Working knowledge of Go and experience with languages such as Python, Ruby, TypeScript, or C#
- Experience with database technologies and cloud-based infrastructure
- Knowledge of software security principles and engineering best practices
