Senior Back End Software Engineer

Job Summary

Senior Back End Software Engineer, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering scalable enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies in a remote contract position for 6 months.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design, development, and implementation of complex enterprise applications using Java/J2EE technologies
• Architect and build scalable solutions leveraging AWS cloud services and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and mentor engineering teams to promote best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 9+ years of experience in Java/J2EE development with a focus on enterprise applications
• Advanced proficiency in Java and the Spring ecosystem
• Hands-on experience with AWS and strong understanding of cloud-native architecture principles
• Proven experience implementing Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
