Job Summary

Building scalable Ruby and Typescript applications, the full-time Senior Back-End Software Engineer will solve complex problems, mentor junior engineers, and deliver high-impact features in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable backend services in Ruby and enhance front-end functionality using Typescript
• Lead architectural discussions to improve system maintainability and ship large features with strong testing practices
• Mentor junior engineers through pair programming and code reviews while collaborating with cross-functional teams

Required qualifications

• Proven experience shipping large, complex software projects in production environments
• Fluency in Ruby and familiarity with Python or Typescript
• Experience with PostgreSQL or other relational databases
• Background in Agile/Scrum development environments
• Ability to articulate technical trade-offs and mentor junior engineers
