Senior Backend Cloud Developer

Job Summary

Joining the Cloud Success team, the full-time Senior Backend Cloud Developer will design and implement CI/CD pipeline infrastructure, build internal developer tooling, and enhance the developer experience in a remote setting across Canada.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement CI/CD pipeline infrastructure optimizing for developer velocity and reliability
• Build and maintain internal developer tooling and self-service platform capabilities on Kubernetes
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers on cloud-native development and AI engineering practices

Required qualifications

• 5+ years in software or platform engineering, with at least 2 years in infrastructure- or tooling-focused roles
• Strong experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and GitOps workflows (ArgoCD)
• Proficiency in designing and operating CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure-as-code (Terraform, Atmos)
• Solid understanding of AWS services and distributed system patterns
