Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer to support a client in Washington, DC (Hybrid/Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of secure back-end services, RESTful APIs, and microservices
• Implement best practices for cloud-native applications in AWS and Kubernetes
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate user stories into functional back-end features

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of back-end development experience, including 3+ years in a senior/lead role
• Expertise in Java, Node.js, or Python for enterprise back-end development
• Strong knowledge of secure software development and federal cybersecurity compliance
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, containerization, Kubernetes, and AWS cloud services
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
