Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

Building and maintaining server-side operations for cloud-based solutions, the full-time Senior Backend Developer will design and deploy systems, integrate data, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to support Bible translation and publishing workflows.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and deploy server-side systems, including databases and APIs
• Analyze system requirements and provide developer-level support to the user community
• Participate in project status meetings and collaborate with the development team

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years of experience in back-end development with a solid understanding of the software development lifecycle
• Demonstrated experience with cloud-based solutions, including AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker
• Familiarity with relevant frameworks and languages, including Go and PHP
• Experience in Agile development practices
