Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

Designing, building, and testing features across backend and frontend systems, the remote Senior Backend Developer will engage in design discussions, implementation, code reviews, and testing while leveraging strong TypeScript and Node.js skills.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in design discussions and implement backend and frontend features
• Conduct code reviews and ensure high-quality testing practices are followed
• Collaborate on microservices design and manage event-driven architecture using Kafka

Required qualifications

• Proven experience with TypeScript and Node.js in production environments
• Strong understanding of microservices design and event-driven architecture
• Experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and transaction management
• Familiarity with AWS services and Kubernetes for cloud operations
• Hands-on experience with unit test frameworks and end-to-end testing tools
