Senior Backend Developer

Job Summary

To enhance the performance and scalability of applications, the full-time Senior Backend Developer will design and implement robust backend systems for UCaaS products while working remotely within eastern or central time zones.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, distributed APIs and backend software with a focus on security and reliability
• Contribute to the ongoing operation and improvement of the cloud platform, ensuring high availability and service reliability
• Collaborate with frontend developers and cross-functional teams to deliver seamless API integrations and troubleshoot issues

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience as a backend developer
• Hands-on experience with Linux-based backend services in cloud environments and relational databases
• Strong proficiency in Rust and Nix, with experience in Node.js and Java
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken
