Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior/Staff Backend Engineer for a remote position in the United States.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain secure, scalable, and robust distributed cloud-based systems on AWS
Integrate cloud services into the broader system architecture and ensure high uptime SLA
Mentor junior developers, stay updated with new AWS services, and participate in agile development processes

Required Qualifications:

5-10 years of industry experience
Bachelors/Masters degree in computer science or relevant experience
Deep experience with containerized environments, asynchronous task processing, and cloud automation tools
Strong software engineering background and proficiency in Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
Understanding of networking, security, and core Internet protocols
