Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer to design and build modern API-driven systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend systems and APIs
• Lead backend architecture discussions and technical decision-making
• Mentor junior and mid-level engineers while ensuring high-quality solutions

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years of backend development experience, including C#, WebAPI, and Microservices architecture
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases (e.g., SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
• Strong understanding of API design principles and development best practices
• Hands-on experience with Azure cloud-native services and familiarity with containerization (Docker) is a plus
