Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their engineering team.

Key Responsibilities

Ensure distributed backend systems are performant, resilient, and scalable
Build backend APIs and systems for user-specific education and action plans
Contribute to code reviews and advocate for best practices in code quality

Required Qualifications

HS Diploma required; Bachelor's in Computer Science or related discipline preferred
5+ years of experience in team-based development
Experience with modern PHP (8+) required
Familiarity with Symfony or Laravel, Doctrine DBAL, Doctrine ORM, and SQL preferred
Understanding of distributed systems and their architecture
