Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Engineer, Backend - Partner VPP.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain highly-available backend services for energy partners to operate the VPP platform
• Develop and operate software for the virtual power plant while ensuring timely project execution
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and participate in the agile development process

Required Qualifications

• 4-8 years of industry experience in building backend software services
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or equivalent experience
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, PHP, or Ruby
• Strong SQL skills and experience with SQL databases like MySQL, Oracle, or Postgres
• Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to design, build, and ship features
