Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Platform) to join their growing L2 team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead or support the development of high-performance backend infrastructure for rollups
• Own key infrastructure components across CI/CD, observability, automation, and runtime performance tooling
• Collaborate with protocol, research, and backend teams to design infrastructure that balances fast UX with decentralization goals

Required Qualifications

• 4-10 years of experience with production systems and a deep understanding of infrastructure or platform engineering
• Strong skills in Rust or Go for building high-performance, secure systems
• Experience running Ethereum infrastructure, such as clients or builders
• Experience with trusted execution environments or secure enclaves
• Knowledge of MEV, L2 scaling solutions, or DeFi protocols
