Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to help scale data and systems infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and own backend services and system integrations across core business platforms
• Design, build, and maintain reliable data ingestion patterns using APIs and batch workflows
• Productionize data products that support analytics and data science initiatives

Required Qualifications

• 5-7+ years of experience in backend engineering, data engineering, or platform engineering
• Strong proficiency in Python and SQL; TypeScript/Node is a plus
• Experience building and operating production APIs and backend services
• Hands-on experience with orchestration tools such as Airflow or Composer
• Cloud infrastructure experience, preferably with GCP
