Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Software Engineer, Backend.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for mission-critical platform functions
• Optimize data models and system performance for scalability and reliability
• Diagnose and resolve performance issues in production systems

Required Qualifications

• 6+ years of experience in backend software development with proficiency in one or more backend languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, Go)
• Deep understanding of scalable API design, data modeling, and distributed systems
• Hands-on experience with relational/non-relational databases and cloud infrastructure (Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure)
• Experience delivering complex backend initiatives within a team
• Strong architectural judgment and ability to contribute to system design discussions
