Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer who will be responsible for building and scaling trading infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Own and drive architectural decisions for backend systems to ensure scalability and reliability
• Build and operate high-performance, real-time data pipelines for trading data
• Design and maintain the API layer to serve high-traffic web and mobile clients

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of production backend engineering experience, preferably with TypeScript
• Proven expertise in WebSockets, event streaming, and pub/sub architectures
• Deep familiarity with PostgreSQL and Redis; experience with ClickHouse is preferred
• A track record of operating high-availability services at significant scale
• Solid understanding of core trading concepts, including orders and execution logic
