Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to join their Integration Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Own integration with sports feed data providers and build WebSocket clients for real-time data
• Design and maintain Kafka topics and manage data flow between microservices
• Ensure platform reliability and performance, optimizing uptime and application stability

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of backend engineering experience with production systems
• Strong proficiency in Kotlin or Java
• Deep understanding of Kafka and experience with distributed systems
• SQL and database optimization skills (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
• Ability to debug complex issues across multiple services
