Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior JVM Backend Engineer (Java / Clojure).

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop scalable, distributed systems using Java and Clojure
• Build and maintain RESTful and event-driven architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience in Java
• Strong experience with Clojure and/or Grails (Groovy)
• Deep understanding of the JVM ecosystem
• Experience with Kafka or similar messaging/event streaming platforms
• Cloud experience, preferably with AWS services
