Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Sr. Backend Engineer (Go/Typescript) to join their App Team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ship new features and APIs in Go and Node/TypeScript backend services for millions of users
• Design and maintain scalable backend systems supporting the app and the broader ecosystem
• Debug and optimize performance issues while building reliable infrastructure for core social features

Required Qualifications:

• Strong programming fundamentals and software engineering skills
• Deep experience with Go and working knowledge of TypeScript/Node.js
• Experience building and scaling backend services for consumer applications
• Hands-on experience with SQL databases (MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Understanding of distributed systems, caching, and API design
