Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Developer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives
• Contribute to product work by providing feedback and suggesting improvements based on technical insights
• Design and implement APIs with a focus on performance, scalability, and maintainability

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience as a Senior Backend Engineer with complex software projects
• Proficiency in Postgres (or similar) and CI/CD tools like GitLab or GitHub
• Experience with Functional Programming languages such as Elixir or similar is a plus
• Familiarity with AWS and containerization tools like Docker and Kubernetes is advantageous
• Experience with frontend technologies such as React or Next.js is beneficial
