Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (EU/US/Canada Remote).

Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to core feature development, including architecture proposals, implementation, deployment, and monitoring
• Engage in open-source projects and collaborate with multifunctional teams to create and improve features
• Participate in on-call rotations to address and resolve critical issues

Required Qualifications

• Significant experience in developing performant systems-level software, preferably in Golang
• Exposure to infrastructure technologies such as Kubernetes, Docker, and cloud services (AWS, Azure, etc.)
• Good knowledge of Postgres and experience with various types of databases
• Strong understanding of distributed systems
• BSc/MSc in Computer Science is a plus
