Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer - Ruby on Rails.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in the entire product life cycle and drive the development of new products
• Write clean, functional code while leveraging AI-assisted development tools for efficiency
• Mentor junior developers and provide training and support to internal teams

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of strong experience with Ruby on Rails and SQL databases
• Proven ability to use AI tools to enhance coding velocity and improve test coverage
• Experience building highly scalable systems
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure)
• A background working in product teams at startups
