Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer to develop REST APIs and applications for enhanced customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement public REST APIs and services, including data storage and ML backend services
• Write clean and extensible Python and Typescript code with production-grade telemetry and security best practices
• Identify performance bottlenecks in services and APIs and deliver optimized solutions

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years in designing and building REST APIs and distributed services in a high scale environment
• 2+ years of experience with production AI/ML applications
• Demonstrated experience in building backend services on Kubernetes/AWS/GCP/Azure infrastructure
• Highly proficient in Python and TypeScript
• Experience with Node.js, Cloudflare Workers, Postgres, and NoSQL databases is preferable
