Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead development of major projects and participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products
• Provide feedback and suggest improvements based on technical insights during product work
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to the shared codebase while maintaining understanding of the team's domain

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems
• Practical experience designing or adopting automation workflows
• Proficiency with Postgres or similar databases
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Ability to think in systems and implement verification loops for quality assurance
