Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of major projects and participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products
• Provide technical insights and feedback to improve product offerings and maintain a strong understanding of the team's domain
• Mentor other engineers and contribute to codebase maintenance and improvements

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems
• Practical experience in designing or adopting automation workflows
• Experience with Postgres or similar databases
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Experience with functional programming languages such as Elixir or similar is a plus
