Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer II - Devices Cloud.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services for device connectivity and telemetry ingest using AI as a collaborator
• Define and codify AI-native engineering practices for the Devices Cloud team
• Collaborate with firmware, mobile, and product teams to define APIs and workflows for device-driven features

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in building and operating backend services in Java, Go, Python, or similar languages
• Hands-on experience with LLMs and agentic workflows
• Strong experience with microservices architecture and RESTful API design
• Solid skills in cloud infrastructure (AWS preferred) and production deployments
• Experience with databases and event/streaming systems
