Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer (Elixir).

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the development of major team-scoped projects and participate in cross-team initiatives for HR and Payroll products
• Contribute to product work by providing feedback, suggesting solutions, and improving the platform
• Mentor other engineers and participate in non-team activities such as hiring and support rotations

Required Qualifications

• Strong engineering fundamentals with experience in shipping secure, reliable, and scalable production systems
• Practical experience with automation workflows and system improvement
• Proficiency in Postgres or similar database technologies
• Experience with CI/CD tools like GitLab, GitHub, or Jenkins
• Ability to think in systems and define clear specifications
