Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Software Engineer, Search.

Key Responsibilities

• Own the search service end-to-end, including index design, query pipelines, relevance tuning, and scaling of OpenSearch infrastructure
• Drive technical discussions on search architecture and translate business requirements into performant search features
• Contribute to feature development across the search stack and help establish best practices for AI-powered development tools

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial software development experience
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with OpenSearch or Elasticsearch
• 2+ years of experience with semantic/vector search techniques
• 3+ years of experience using Python as the primary development environment
• Active experience using AI-powered developer tools to enhance coding and debugging workflows
