Senior Backend Engineer

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Senior Backend Engineer - AI Product.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement RESTful APIs and ingestion pipelines for structured data extraction
• Build and extend AI workflows for proactive team coordination and project intelligence
• Deploy and operate services on GCP while writing maintainable code and participating in code reviews

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience building production backend systems, with 3+ years in Python
• Proficiency in using AI coding tools to accelerate development
• Strong experience with FastAPI or similar async Python web frameworks
• Production experience with PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Hands-on experience with task queues and background processing (Celery, Redis, etc.)
